In this two-for-2008 special, it’s Brute Chopper versus Warthog in an exciting before and after photo sequence. From a distance, a Warthog’s mounted gun will make short work of a Brute Chopper (or at least the person driving it). Get close enough for a collision, however, and a boosted Chopper will always win out.
I had just spawned near the blue base on Sandtrap when I spotted a Warthog approaching on the double-quick. I had just enough time to hop in a nearby Brute Chopper and boost into the ‘hog as it careened over the hill, scattering twisted steel and Spartan corpses over the desert wasteland.
Interestingly, if you look closely at the first picture, you’ll notice my character is still in the animation of getting in the vehicle, as my right hand has yet to grasp the handlebar. A narrow escape to be sure, although I think I got blown up by Spartan laser shot shortly after. You win some, you lose some.
I like the detail in your analysis. By the way, what kind of matchmaking did this game take place in? I’m curious because they have a driver and a gunner, so I’m assuming that it’s the team one. One last thing, I saw your service profile for Halo 3 and you must’ve logged insane hours into it.
